Once Again, Sharapova Exposed as Fraud

0f68c_120702054221-wimbledon-0702-9-horizontal-gallery

On January 18, 2013, Daniel Sanford of the BBC breathlessly tweeted: “In-form Maria Sharapova wipes Venus Williams off the court at Australian Open 6-1, 6-3.”

Six days later, still on the Sharapova band wagon, he gushed:  “Maria Sharapova beats fellow Russian Ekaterina Makarova to reach Australian Open semi-finals.”

But he was strangely silent on January 24th. That’s when Sharapova met her very first tough, serious opponent in draw, one Na Li from China.  And though ranked well below Sharapova, the Chinese opponent blew Sharapova off the court in easy straight sets, breaking Sharapova’s serve five times and allowing her to win only four of 16 games played.

In form? Sharapova tossed in a whopping 32 unforced errors and added a revolting six double faults.  The much more diminutive Chinese player, who had won only four of twelve prior contests with the Russian, decisively whipped Shamapova in every aspect of the game, exposing the Russian’s route to the semi-finals for the fraud it was.

Two of the three Russians who reached the quarter finals at the Aussie this year turned in disgraceful performances there, and the only reason one reached the semi finals was that two met each other in the quarters.  Sharapova, surely one of the luckiest humans who ever lived, faced the second-lowest seeded player to reach the quarters, and in the fourth round was lucky enough to be one of only four players in the round of 16 to face an unseeded opponent.  Each and every opponent she met before the semi-finals simply collapsed and handed her the match.  When she finally met someone not quite so obliging, she herself collapsed like a house of cards.

Sharapova isn’t even a real Russian. She left her country when a young child and chooses to live in the USA, though her massive wealth would allow her to live anywhere. To the extent she can play tennis at all, it’s because of American teachers, and she virtually never goes home for a visit. She’s married to a non-Russian.  As if to confirm this, and add insult to injury, she was booted off the Russian national tennis team.

To be fair, Sanford wasn’t the only one to totally miss the boat on Shamapova, plenty of other journalists did too: Check out this idiot for example claiming that “champagne Sharapova” had “plenty left in the tank.”  But Sanford is one of those reporters we watched breathlessly misreport the Russian opposition movement, claiming it was changing Russia forever when in fact it was doing no such thing. So it’s particularly important to point out he’s still ranging far from the path of truth.

There simply aren’t that many places you can read the truth about Russia from folks who actually understand the place. Fortunately for you, this is one of them.  If you had been following our coverage of Maria’s misadventures, you wouldn’t have been the least surprised by what happened in the semis at this year’s Aussie Open.

Another excellent article on shrieking Sharapova, bravo LR!!!

Although an avid tennis fan, I refuse to watch this shrieking and annoying so called ‘tennis player’! Nevertheless I did watch all the other tennis matches telecast of the Australian Open.

I believe she uses her shrieking as a psychological weapon to upset her opponents, and hence force them to make errors they normally don’t.

Sadly gone are the days of total silence from the players, when tennis was originally played. The only noise emanating were the ‘smacks’ as the racquet connected with the ball, line calls by the Officials and the Umpire’s call of the score.

Yes indeed it is a total waste of time watching that bogus “Russian tennis fraud”, shrieking Sharapova, prancing up and down on any professional tennis court!

Let’s put it blantly, that noisy siberian russian cow, with a sex appeal of a fly and no talent at all, is discarded – OUCH!!!!!!!!

      • rutenburg

“Siberian”? I guess your country – Poland – is as bad at geography as at tennis, soccer and other sports.

        • MCC ⋅

She was born in siberia dear manfred, rotenburg, auriga and the rest of you kgb rats policing the internet for ANYTHING anti-russian .. By the way, the russians aren’t good at tennis either, you stupid russian baboon; conclusion – manipulations aren’t always working…And those obscene, revloting sounds made by sharapova are truly insulting for EVERYBODY – if one tries to add vissual effects to those revolting sounds one can imagine pigs in dirt having fun…got the picture dearie…

          • MCC ⋅

Because sharapova was born in siberia should we call her chinese, after all siberia is already retaken by its rightful owner china ..

            • rutenburg

              > should we call her chinese

You should. If for no other reason than the fact that Russia, USA, China and Belarus produce the best female tennis players in the world, while Poland – the worst.

              • MCC ⋅

Rutenburg, DON’T put USA and russia in the same sentence ….

                • MCC ⋅

rottenberg, russia also produced its greatest asset – 100 million russian slaves marching to the gulags to be worked to death, starved to death and finally discarded and forgotten – all thess sacrifices to keep alive russian ’empire’ which, in reality, is a one huge sh$#$%^t hole with rotting nukes, starving, shrinking population low grade civil wars going on all over russia, and afghan heroin and russian krokodil raigning suprime…By the way, pacifying Chechnia by killing over half of population and then naming the main street after Monsieur Putain is not a victory..A propos, where is volodia? Poor bastard hasn’t been seen for over a month???? Sitting, perhaps, at the death bed of hugo chavez in cuba??? The chavez case must be one of the most sinister and macabre kgb project of recent years…

Couldn’t resist myself after rereading your Blog on Shamapova, LR. And so I decided to watch the replay with the sound set at ‘low’.

Gosh what a pleasure it was to see the ‘drubbing’ this phoney Russian got at the hands of the diminutive LI, losing both sets 6-2, 6-2.

The other thing I could not help but notice was, although she still has a trim figure, the terrible shape of Shamapova’s lumpy thighs. Conclusively pointing out that she is well past her “use by” date.

Give up Shamapova, as your rightful place now is definitely on history’s scrap heap.

      • rutenburg

        > Gosh what a pleasure…

If you are a woman, why do you have a male first name: Bohdan?

        > Give up Shamapova

Go Vika! Belarus – number one!

        • Bohdan ⋅

rutenburg? to ask such a question as “If you are a woman, why do you have a male first name: Bohdan?” just shows you up for your lack of common sense.

Are you an average Belarusian? If you are then no wonder this nation, ruled by a dictator, is in the mess it is.

In the meantime have a wild guess to answer your own question.

      • MCC ⋅

In the USA, the ads for Evian Water by sharapova ended in total catastophy; she officially became the laughing stock of the USA. A propos, who is promoting so relentlessly sharapova’s image in the west – it must be kgb spending millions of dollars stolen from the ordinary russians – hey kgb katsaps – read my lips; IT DOESN’T WORK!!!!!!!!!!!

Not a word about Russia’s anti-gay bill. Kim and her little Russophobic friends remain envious of Vladimir Putin as an anti-gay bill is about to passed in Russia, where religion-induced conservatism has power over society their American counterparts can only dream of. But one hardly expects a person who puts “Yes on 8” and “Protect Marriage” slogans on her bumper like Kim to condemn even her sworn enemy Russia for “protecting christian values”.

BEETLEJUICE AND THE REST OF THE KGB EXCREMENTS – WHERE IS BEDNASHKA VOLODIA PUTIN – RAPING LITTLE BOYS 24/7 WHILE IMAGINING HE IS A CRANE, HAVING ANOTHER FACE LIFT THAT MAKES HIS LOOK EVEN MORE LOOK LIKE A CORPSE OF LENIN IN MAUZOLEUM], OR, BETTER STILL, HE IS IN CUBA ‘HELPING’ HUGO CHAVEZ TO CHEAT DEATH???? TRULY KGB AT ITS BEST…

As usual I rest my case. As I said, Russia is in an abyss of conservatism that makes you Polaks and American russophobes irate with envy. Although the Polaks aren’t too far off from Russia when it comes to gays. So anyway…

A 12-year-old boy comes up to the Polish man and says, “I was looking in your bedroom window last night and I saw you and your wife doing it. Nyah, nyah, nyah!”
The Pole answers, “The joke’s on you kid, Nyah, nyah, nyah! I wasn’t even home last night.”

Did you hear about the Pole who thought his wife was trying to kill him?
On her dressing table he found a bottle of “Polish Remover”.

How about that horrible tragedy at the Polish National Library?
        Someone stole the one book.

Also did you know that the author of that book was a Polak? I swear its true. When it first arrived the librarian asked him “What is it about”? The Polak said, “How should I know? I can’t read!”

A Polish man was jumped by two muggers and fought like hell, but was finally subdued. His attackers then proceeded to go through his pockets.
“You mean you fought like that for 57 cents?” asked one of the muggers incredulously. “Is that all you wanted?” moaned the Pole. “I thought you were after the $400 in my shoe!”

A 12-year-old boy comes up to the RUSSKY man and says, “I was looking in your bedroom window last night and I saw you and your wife doing it. Nyah, nyah, nyah!”
The RUSSKY KATSAP answers, “The joke’s on you kid, Nyah, nyah, nyah! I wasn’t even home last night.”

Some corrections to your pathetic joke, beetlejuice. By the way, where is bendashka putin? trakhayet malszykov, ili latayet i dumayet szto on zuravley????

          • Beetlejuice ⋅

Jokes? I didn’t make any jokes. And your pathetic “corrections” of good old American humor is even more hilarious than the terms of endearment I get from Bohdan. It virtually turns it into a bunch of senseless gibberish. What the hell is Russian Remover and a Katsap? Polish inventions no doubt. I tell you, I’ve always been intrigued by Polish inventions: the solar powered flashlight, the sliding glass door with a peep hole, fireproof matches, a helicpoter with an emergency ejection seat, a wooden fireplace, wheelchairs with peddles, glow in the dark sunglasses, submarines with screen doors, waterproof teabags, bravo!

Speaking of helicopters, did you hear about the helicopter crash in Poland?
The pilot got so cold, he turned the fan off.

What about those new automatic Polish parachutes?
            They open on impact.

Did you hear that the Polish government bought 50,000 septic tanks?
As soon as they learn to drive them, they’re going to invade Russia.

Did you hear about the Polish Admiral who wanted to be buried at sea when he died?
Five sailors died digging his grave.

In America, they say it’s 10:00 do you know where your children are?
In England, they say it’s 10:00 do you know where your husband is?
In France, they say it’s 10:00 do you know where your wife is?
In Russia, they say it’s 10:00 do you know where the police are?
And in Poland, they say it’s 10:00 do you know what time it is?

MCC: Try to come up with your own anti-Russian humor; on the other hand I don’t want you to hurt yourself as you were obviously lucky to come out of the “corrections” alive. That would just shatter my heart to pieces.

  3. rutenburg

I would like to congratulate LaRussophobe, Bohdan, McUSA and everybody else with the latest Australian Open victory by Viktoria Azarenka, my favorite female tennis player, from the great tennis country of Belarus.

Vika, may you remain the world’s best tennis player for at least another decade! And may enemies of your people, of your culture, of your language develop ulcers over your victories.

    • Bohdan ⋅

rutenburg! I’m now going to write a letter to the other great Belarusian – you know, A. Lukashenko, that you left out from your propaganda spiel.

I mean how dare omit this great of the greatest Belarusians. He will not be pleased, that’s for sure. So expect the Belarusian KGB to call at your residence at 2.00am in the morning for a free holiday in some filthy dungeon.

      • rutenburg

I have no idea what your crazy babble means. All I know is that my two favorite tennis players – Djokovich of Serbia and Azarenka of Belarus – are the two best players in the world. The Giants won the World Series. The 49ers are in the Superbowl.

How’s sports life in your neck of the woods?

        • Bohdan ⋅

rutenburg, what you “have no idea what your crazy babble means.” Shyte! you are even dumber then I gave you credit for! Surprise, surprise.

But then you cannot be as stupid as Manfred., or can you? Nevertheless, I must agree with you on Novak Djokovic. (please note correct spelling) as that guy is brilliant and a real goodwill ambassador for Serbia!!!

          • rutenburg

            > Novak Djokovic. (please note correct spelling)

Thank you, Bohdan, for kindly correcting my spelling of tennis names. Let me return your kindness and mention your own misspelling of Maria Sharapova’s name (please note correct spelling).

            • Bohdan ⋅

By the way comrade baboon! Please, ever so please, listen carefully, if that is possible, but I doubt it very much.

LR was the first to use the spelling of ‘Shamapova’ for your beloved ‘dumb blond.’ A spelling that I find excellent and appropriate. Yes indeed, most excellent and appropriate, I must add! So go and suck on you rotten ruSSian eggs – Bon Appetit.

        • MCC ⋅

and rottenburg, pluszpszenko is going to win a gold medal in skating in Sochi…Heh,Heh,Heh….

    • MCC ⋅

the most important thing is that szarapova lost; that revolting, pathetic russian cow that makes obscene, revolting noices. got the message, dearie…

  4. Bohdan ⋅

It was a pleasure to see Serena Williams demolish the ersatz Russian, shrieking Sharapova, 6-3, 6-2, in the semi final of the recently completed Qatar WTA – won by Victoria Azarenko, a Belarusian, by defeating Venus Williams 7-6, 2-6, 6-3 in the final. Why ersatz? Well because currently she, Sharapova is 25 and has lived in the US since the age of 7, a ratio of roughly 4:1 in America’s favor.

Her parents actually are from from Gomel, Belarus, who as a result of the Chernobyl atomic reactor disaster, left for Russia just before she was born,

  5. Connor Murray ⋅

Maria Sharapova is a great tennis player. She won wimbledon at the age of 17 beating serena Williams easily 6:1 6:4. She is one of 10 women to complete a career grand slam. Winning all the grand slams yes easy. Yes she was outplayed by Na Li but she said that herself. She has beaten Li far more times than Li has beaten her. She also is a super model so whoever said she has no sex appeal must be blind. She also came back from a shoulder injury and surgery and then won the French open. She also gives money toward the people affected by the Chernobyl crisis which her parents were caught up in and she has a charity for children in poverty. She got engaged to a non-Russian not married and she calls it off, but why would it matter who she married or in this case got engaged to. She grunts as a result of American coaches promoting it years ago just look at other players like serena and Venus they are both great players don’t get me wrong but they still GRUNT!

    • Bohdan ⋅

Sharapova does not grunt! She shrieks!

And yes she may have been a great player once, but her heyday has passed and she should retire gracefully. Plus it has been America, where she has lived the greatest part of her life, that gave her a chance to be something and a millionairess.

For this she gives no credit to her new home by still calling herself a RUSSIAN and not an American – a place that she has lived in since she was seven.
