Putin and his Tiny, Squalid little Russia

Over on the powerful and influential American Thinker blog, LR publisher and founder shows how Vladimir Putin’s policies on gays and environmentalists shows that he governs a weak, craven, squalid, small little country, not a great and mighty one.

Just a couple suggestions. Do you think it might make you look better to find other things to report on about Russia than the same thing over and over under a different title? Recalling the comments you and your fellow neocons made supporting Prop 8 back in the 2008 elections, how about dropping the crocodile tears for gays in Russia.

Just a couple of suggestions. Do you think it might make you look better not lob insults like “neocon” while ridiculously purporting to give us advice on how to be more successful?

The last column on AT was about the Peanut Hole and had nothing whatsoever to do with this topic.

As for “crocodile tears” it’s just pretty damn weird for you to accuse us of talking too much about homosexual rights and at the same time not being serious about it. If you are trying to suggest it somehow suspicious that we don’t speak out more in regard to the rights of homosexuals in the USA (a) this blog is about Russia, duh, and (b) homosexual rights are exploding in the USA, with one state after another granting the right to marry and federal legislation designed to protect employment rights. The situation in Russia is far more dire.

You have not, however, even read the article in question. Its purpose is not to defend the rights of homosexuals but to document how badly Putin’s policy, by his own admission, has failed in this area.

I’m sorry, little Kim, I didn’t mean to insult you I meant to accuse you. How clumsy of me. You couldn’t be more unsuccessful if you took the title “The Gotham Globe” for your blog. However, you continuous posts ranting about how Russia is an economic and social disaster makes you look like a 9 year old with a temper tantrum. I got news for you: everyone knows that, and they don’t need your childish blog to figure that out. As for your pathetic rants about violation of gay rights in Russia, it only makes you more of a hypocrite. Not because you speak out against it, but you support the VERY SAME practice in the USA. Yes, gay rights are prevailing in the USA to the dismay of people like you who voted Yes on Prop 8.

“You have not, however, even read the article in question. It’s purpose is not to defend the rights of homosexuals but to document how badly Putin’s policy, by his own admission, has failed in this area.”

So you approve of Putin’s war against homosexuals in Russia; but you’re angry that it has in the end been ineffective in ridding Russia of these….help me out here…”perverts, pedophiles, sinners”. Pick one.

No. we don’t approve of Putin’s war against homosexuals, we oppose it. Putin’s war has caused Russia to become more and more isolated from the civilized world at a time when it needs more foreign investment, not less, and it will also cause Russia massive international humiliation during the Olympic games. The last thing Russia needs to be doing is undermining civil rights; it should be championing them. It’s simply your reading difficulties that prevent you from understanding that the point of the article in question was not to defend homosexual rights as you falsely claimed.

You haven’t even come close to challenging any of the economic data we’ve reported about Russia, and you’ve simply ignored the fact that the Kremlin itself admits Russia won’t have significant economic growth for the next ten years or more.

We objected to your insult because it was irrational when combined with your claim of giving advice not because it was offensive. You seem to have a great deal of trouble reading the English language.

LR is one of the most trafficked and commented upon Russia blogs in world history. If it’s not successful, then most other Russia blogs don’t even exist. Do you even have a blog at all? If not, your talk is K-mart cheap.

Again, that’s where you’re wrong, little girl. Putin’s war on homosexuals has made him a hero among American conservatives envious that the same policies cannot be applied here. You on the other hand, are an exception. Your hatred of Russia overcomes all, including policies which you advocate here in the USA. I don’t give a damn what the article says, its all babbling bullshit. The point is you only whine about Putin’s crackdown on homosexuals because he’s the one doing it, you’d vote for it in a hot second if it came up like you did Prop 8.

Russia is a capitalist country that has attracted lots of foreign investment, their 1% is the largest and richest in the world; believe me cracking down on gays will not threaten any business deals that exist with Russia. Remember, sweetie. This is America, where money has priority over humanity.

“LR is one of the most trafficked and commented upon Russia blogs in world history.”

By who? Simple-minded Polak youths and trailer trash inbred hicks? That’s all who I see endorsing your pathetic babble, aside from people like me who just visit for a good laugh.

“Do you even have a blog at all?”

Do YOU? LOL! You entertain me, Kim. Always have. How’s Penny doing these days?
