Not one but two leading figures in the U.S. Congress intelligence establishment have revealed that confidential information leads them to believe Edward Snowden acted with Russian assistance in stealing U.S. security information. Over on the mighty Pajamas Media blog, LR publisher and founder Kim Zigfeld has all the details, as well as commentary on Putin’s recent interview by ABC News.

And an American hero. Revealed to us that our government spies on its citizens.

Newsflash: American heroes don’t steal American secrets and then run to American enemies with them. Daniel Ellsberg did no such thing, he stayed in the USA and went to court to vindicate his position. Snowden is a traitor, and the highest-level American authorities now believe he was working with the Russian government to harm American and his fellow citizens.

If by informing his fellow American citizens that they were being watched by their government meant harming them, then yes he’s guilty. Harming them with the knowledge of how rotten their government is. American heroes stand up for the American people, not the government; as Snowden did. Not to mention revealing that NATO allies such as Germany and France were also being spied on. But I guess now they’re America’s enemies, right Kimmy?

Daniel Ellsberg too was an American hero for the same reason: informing the American people. To people like you Kim, if the American public before informed, they are being harmed. The very same thing you rant and rave about Putin, criticizing him and supporting the same behavior in the USA. When are you going to realize that both you and Putin’s supporters are on the SAME SIDE in the political spectrum?
