Putin Drags Russia back into its Failed Past

One of the big stories out of Russia last week was the barbaric country’s efforts to block Syrian human rights atrocities from being adjudicated by the international criminal court.  In doing so, Russia stood with China against the entire UN  Security Council and most of the civilized world.

Over on the powerful and influential American Thinker blog, LR publisher and founder Kim Zigfeld reviews Russia’s litany of aggression and corruption, of which the Syria outrage is only the latest example.  Vladimir Putin, a proud KGB spy, is dragging his country back into the dismal failure of the past, openly provoking the USA in to a new cold war and corruptly diverting huge flows of badly needed capital towards military power and to line his own personal pockets.

Of course! Shame on Russia! Since we know the al-Qaeda infested rebels fighting for a free and democratic Syria could never commit any human rights atrocities. Maybe 9/11 was done by rogue elements within al-Qaeda, Kim?

Apparently it is not enough for you that the ENTIRE WORLD rejects the pariah position of you and Russia and China. Apparently you think the three of you know better than THE ENTIRE WORLD what is going on in Syria. And apparently, although Russia is BY FAR the most corrupt major nation on the planet, you believe that the international criminal tribunal in Europe is corrupt and cannot be trusted to fairly adjudicate the matter.

In other words, you’re completely freakin’ insane.

beetlejuice, it is magnificent that putin takes russia back to the times of gulags [the only infrastructure that exists in russia, by the way] – I hope to see the russian slaves march again to the gulags like pigs to the slaughter houses – they will march, of course, with russian ‘pride and integrity’….just to keep the ‘samodierjava’ intact. This is beyond insanity, but to see russia totally humiliated and on its knees is priceless….privet is Polshi…

And you’re a completely ignorant little girl. The real ENTIRE WORLD exists beyond the borders of the confinements of your pathetic little mind, Kim. What is going on in Syria is a civil war between the government and an al-Qaeda infested rebellion. As far as Russia being corrupt, no argument there. But thanks to the efforts of the great American Edward Snowden, Russia is clearly not number 1 on that list. The International Criminal Court (not Tribunal, dodo) is a kangaroo court that prosecutes low level offenders, never the head.

But anyway my point is, you clearly think a fascist infested Ukraine and an al-Qaeda breeding ground like Afghanistan, Iraq, and Libya are posters for democracy in their regions, simply because they are U.S allies. Grow up, Kim.

They were waiting to see the movie “Closed for the Winter”.

And that reminds me: Why did the Nazis conquer Poland so fast?

They marched in backwards and the Polaks thought they were leaving.

The hundreds of millions of mongolian russian hordes were also marching backwards on their way to the gulags with the name of Stalin on their lips -the easiest thing in the world is to slaughter russians……
